Concise explaination Spirituality

Mixing spirituality and religion is an ancient practice. For some reason, it will always be better to accept things whenever they include the force of religion. Unfortunately, comparing spirituality and religion, is much like comparing chalk and cheese! If you read the above quote carefully, you will note precisely what I mean. Spoken about above, religion is belief in somebody else’s experiences. Not one religion on the planet, has its own basis on universal experiences. These folks were all founded about the experiences of somebody, who lived centuries as well as millennia ago! When nobody contested the claims, it had been slowly converted to a law lastly religion was born.

Spirituality on the other hand, is solely individual experience based. No two people are similar and neither are their experiences. Hence spirituality can mean something else entirely to be able to people.

Till date, there is no fixed definition of amil baba. Just one thing is definite. Spirituality comes from within. It wouldn’t be forced, explained nor manipulated.

Renowned spiritual leader and yoga guru, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, gave the following explanation when inquired about his opinion on spirituality:

“Spirituality does not necessarily mean any particular practice. It is a certain strategy for being. To have there, there are several things you can do. This really is as being a garden in your house. In the event the soil, sunlight or stem of your plant is a certain way, it will not yield flowers, you have to do something. You have to manage those actions. When you cultivate the body, mind, emotions and energies to some certain degree of maturity, something more important blossoms in the human body – that is what spirituality is. Whenever your rationale is immature, it doubts everything. Whenever your rationale matures, it sees all things an absolutely different light.”

As quoted by Sadhguru, spirituality can’t be practiced. It becomes an experience you go through. Spirituality can be a journey, not really a destination.
