How weddings have changed on the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a straightforward wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Speaking of aforementioned, wedding speeches are nevertheless a fundamental part of a marriage and guests do look ahead to hearing them, referring to them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We are all aware of father of the bride speech delivered ahead of the meal, through the meal and after the meal, yet it’s of your strong opinion how the wedding speeches needs to be delivered as soon as the meal. I understand that for a lot of marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father of the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the five main speakers), they’d would rather possess the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (a lot of them are paying for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and the way many (and even the wedding ceremony venue staff) would choose the wedding speeches to get delivered following the meal for many reasons, some of which include:
The invited guests are already fed and watered and aren’t hearing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be the case prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches prior to meal along with their can be quite a delay of Fifteen minutes to a single.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition from the meal for the dancing (broke and alone happening as soon as the meal, individuals are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared in regards to the Bride & Groom then they know they’re able to get up, move, take a break, go for a walk, go to the bar…)
It can be hard for fogeys from the Bride & Groom to speak in public places, since most of them wouldn’t be used of it. So, they could, when they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.
There should be some form of formal wedding speech(es) following the meal…
