I had to figure out how to handle the painful, almost debilitating, Herpes Zoster outbreak that I was lucky enough to experience because i is at college. When i noticed the outbreak, I used to be sitting in class and it took all things in my power to never swindle my shirt and scratch my mid section uncontrollably. After that class ended I went home and didn’t get back to school for weeks…I really didn’t know what I what food was in store for. After i got home I decided to adopt a bath believing that maybe I became allergic to something I had placed on my skin. Within hours I started to get noticable blisters forming and my skin erupting into angry red rashes. I had been exhausted and the pain just kept intensifying. Then my roommate took me on the hospital and i also was soon diagnosed with Herpes Zoster. The doctors all told me that stress from soccer practice was most likely a contributing factor. My physician prescribed pain medication as well as an anti-viral.
