How weddings have changed in the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight marriage ceremony members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and huge wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Talking about rogues, wedding speeches are still a fundamental part of a wedding and guests do look forward to hearing them, talking about them before, during as well as after they’ve been delivered.
We are all aware of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, through the meal and after the meal, however it’s of the strong opinion that this wedding speeches needs to be delivered after the meal. I know that for many wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father of the Bride Speech, Father from the father of the bride speech (the five main speakers), they will would rather hold the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (a lot of them are spending money for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and just how a lot of them (and even the wedding venue staff) would choose the wedding ceremony speeches to be delivered after the meal for several reasons, many of which include:
The invited guests happen to be fed and watered and aren’t paying attention to wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which may be prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food can be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches prior to the meal in addition to their might be a delay of Fifteen minutes to 1.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The marriage speeches behave as the transition from the meal to the dancing (with nothing happening as soon as the meal, folks are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared regarding the Bride & Groom after which they are fully aware they’re able to get out of bed, move around, come out, take a stroll, visit the bar…)
It can be difficult for parents from the Bride & Groom to talk in public places, since most of them would not be used than it. So, they may, whenever they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.
There should always be some sort of formal speech(es) following the meal…
