2016 Xmas Rock-POP music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Christmas rock track has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day website .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a unique up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session musicians to record the tune over a six week period. The songs includes 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the USA because of Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The music is currently ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then ideally in-turn they will be good enough to donate to 1 or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the track.
Another absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to fund and create a Phuket live music pub with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to promote his music Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket island Resort and budget flights to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
