2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock n roll track has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main intention of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks genre is a unique up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used local session players to studio record the tune over a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the USA because of Mark needed the best outcome and quality. The music ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be good enough to contribute to at least one or every one of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
One other definitive goal is to have enough downloads of the song to fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his track Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous ways to simply help including a Phuket Resort and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
