In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session musicians to record the song over a 6 week period. The tunes includes 8 separate tracks and all session musician are from the Philippines, such as lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’. Although ‘I’m Returning home For live music pub phuket was studio concerning Phuket the mixing, engineering and mastering was completed in america due to Mark wanted the best result and quality of sound. The song has become able to be listened to and downloaded by going to the Tsunami Day website.
The primary objective of recording ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’ is usually to bring because to the ‘Tsunami Day’ website as possible, after which hopefully in-turn they shall be kind enough to donate to a single or all of the Phuket charities and also download the song.
The other main goal is to buy enough downloads with the song to finance and set up Tsunami Day with open stage and recording / teaching studio on Phuket, that may offer free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children through the local schools and orphanages. Thus far ‘La QingTing’ is not open yet though the website is below (QingTing means: ‘Dragon Fly’ in Chinese if you’re wondering)
About: Mark set-up the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site to promote his song ‘Tsunami Day’ that was inspired from their own personal experiences because i was moving into Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Like with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’ the song ‘Tsunami Day’ also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. Around the ‘Tsunami Day’ web there’s numerous methods to help with a Phuket Hotels and cheap flights to Thailand and Asia booking system. Every penny helps.
