The tunes name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used local session players to record the music durring a six week period. The track consists of 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA as a result of Mark needed the very best outcome and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as we are able to and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be good enough to give to 1 or all the Phuket charities, and to also buy the song.
One other absolute goal is to be able enough downloads of the tune to help fund and create a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that’ll offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open yet but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to promote his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket Resort and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every penny helps.
