Bizarrely after i opened Udo Andre’s answer from notifications, I didn’t make obvious sexual connection until about para 5 !
I’m guessing it’s since there is a really old and overweight heavy draught horse, called Magic, in a field several miles faraway from us. We may feed him the odd apple or carrot once we saw him. He was notoriously grumpy and kept his distance in the locked access gate.
When we first took our eldest and emotionally damaged ‘granddaughter’, there were the gravest misgivings whilst walked right to her and eat from her hand.

He towers above her which has a girth that belies belief. My granddaughter is just 5ft 2in, he could be Much taller, which has a back which is as wide just as one armchair!
Four years later, whenever she goes to see him, he literally gallopes over to her, seemingly making the bottom shake, and waits whilst she gives him huge hugs (well she spreads her arms wide apart looking to cuddle him round his neck nonetheless they don’t even go halfway round), and after that scratches him across as much as she will reach; subsequently we’ve been back often times to speak and cuddle him.
He never moves until she says goodbye and kisses his nose. She says she just thinks lovely opinion of them and “knows he understands”. That is intercourse with a horse from the real sense.
