During the last year, a lot of people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and also the outlook during Training in Miracles, about the popular book and film The trick. I became also recently inspired to engage in an authority panel discussion for the Secret and the law of attraction on the Body Soul Spirit Expo in Calgary.
As I see it, The secrets offers a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating.
The first message is the fact that our thoughts possess a powerful affect on our life. Another insight is we have been eligible to a wealthy life, although true wealth is more than merely cash and “toys.” Instead, it calls for feeling fulfilled in all of the fields, including our relationships, career, and health. What we should should do is look within to find out if, in fact, we presume worthy of authentic wealth.
Another message that is subtly conveyed within the Secret, and one that I believe to be real, is always that when we use a heartfelt desire and we agree to doing our part to manifest the desire, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces come alive.
On the flip side, I’m the concept that more “toys” as cars, houses, jet planes, and boats can make us happy and you will be the illustration showing our ability to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for most people that are already “bankrupt” inside the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The issue using this type of picture would be that the desire to have often comes from a feeling of lack rather than a feeling of completeness. And due to this, everything we gain in thinks of feeling “full,” whole, happy, or accomplished, will inevitably not work, because we feel a void internally.
The truth is that we’re not empty, but already full, and when could and feel this to become our new reality, then the outer world begins to “echo” our inner awareness.
A training course in Miracles reminds us that to the degree we can accept and be truly grateful for our inheritance like an unbounded, abundant, whole, and unlimited Self, we’ll attract to ourselves the perfect outward expressions in our claimed inner worth. This reclaiming of our own authentic Self will likely then miraculously bring into manifestation any material things that behaves the harder good of both our life in addition to those around us, yet we’ll feel no dependency upon them for the happiness.
