A Course in Miracles can be so pure, so wonderful, so powerful, and a whole lot spiritually advanced than some other bit of our planet’s literature (past and offer), that you must actually experience it to believe it. But those whose minds are far too mounted on worldly thoughts, and not have the underlying thirst for true spiritual knowledge that is necessary for its understanding, will likely not comprehend an individual whole page. That is not because A Course in Miracles is confusing – however its principles are remarkably simple – but because it’s the of spiritual knowledge that those who are not able to realize it, simply cannot comprehend it. Mentioned previously in the Bible, at the beginning of the novel of John: “The light shineth in darkness, and darkness comprehended it not”.
From the time I first became conscious of the majestic and awe-inspiring presence of God, We’ve enjoyed reading many wonderful spiritual works just like the Bible (my favorite parts include the Sermon for the Mount and Psalms), the Bhagavad-Gita, the Upanishads, the Koran and the poetry of Kabir and Rumi. None of them compare to the greatness of a Course in Miracles. Reading it by having an open mind and heart, your fears and troubles wash away. You feel mindful of a marvelous love deep in the human body – deeper than whatever you knew before. The near future starts to seem so bright for you personally and your loved ones. You are feeling passion for everyone including those you previously have attemptedto leave excluded. These experiences are extremely powerful at times throw you off balance somewhat, but it is worth every penny: Training in Miracles introduces you to a passion so peaceful, so strong so universal – you are going to wonder how so many of the world’s religions, whose aim is supposedly much the same experience, got so off track.
I’d like to say here to the Christian who feels that his church’s teachings don’t truly satisfy his thirst to learn a sort, merciful and loving God, but is somewhat afraid to learn the Course due to others’ claims that it’s inconsistent with “true” Christianity: Don’t fret! I have see the gospels often times i promise a Course in Miracles is totally in line with Jesus’ teachings as he was in the world. Don’t fear the fanatical defenders of exclusionist dogma – these the indegent think themselves to be the only carriers of Jesus’ message, and also the only ones worthy of his blessings, while all the other will go to hell. A program in Miracles reflects Jesus’ true message: unconditional love for *all people*. When he was on earth, Jesus believed to judge a tree by its fruit. So try it out to see how a fruits that ripen in your own life taste. Should they taste bad, it is possible to abandon A training course in Miracles. In case they taste as sweet as mine do, and also the countless other true seekers that have found A training course in Miracles to be nothing more than a heavenly treasure, then congratulations – and may your heart often be abundantly filled up with peaceful, loving joy.
