About Khasab, Musandam
Khasab, the administrative centre of the Musandam peninsula, is found 500 kilometers from Muscat and is also dubbed the “Norway of Arabia”. Mighty jebels (mountains) rise on this unique and rugged locale. Aside from the beauty that lies above the waters, Musandam even offers a wealthy and vibrant underwater world, teeming with varied marine life, providing spectacular snorkeling, Khasab Musandam Oman Diving and Khasab Musandam Oman fishing.
The breath-taking attractiveness of the lake, the unspoilt beaches and steep wadis (dry river beds) are aplenty around Khasab.
