The principles of play are pretty straight forward. Beginning from four elements: air, earth, fire, and water, which appear as icons in your screen. By adding any two elements together, you obtain another “element,” which might or might not be combinable in turn. Elements are added by dragging one over another, after which either nothing happens (since they don’t make new things), or a new icon appears in their place. You can set the library to exhibit either every one of the elements you’ve created, or only the ones that could be combined; “final elements” will be the end from the road and can’t be used to create elements. It’s also possible to decide to have final elements underlined, to help you differentiate between them. “Flood” within the screenshot can be a final element.
