2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock-POP tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main goal of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket web site .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo track since then awaiting the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used session players to record the song over a 6 week period. The songs includes 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA as a result of Mark needed the best result and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main aim of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as we are able to and then we hope in-turn they’ll be kind enough to give to 1 or all the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the song.
Another absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the track to help fund and create a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the web site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to market his music Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to greatly help including a Thailand Resort and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
