This magnificent botanic garden is located about the Gambarogno-side of Lake Maggiore, over a plain within the hills between Piazzogna and Vairano.
In this place, Otto Eisenhut, someone and talented cultivator of plants and trees, cultivated 1000s of beautiful and vibrant flowering plants like 950 kinds of camelias, 450 different magnolias, azaleas, peonies and Rhododendron on a the top of over 20’000 m2.
In addition, here grows also ivy, pines, juniper and other rare European and exotic coniferous trees.
