There isn’t a more refreshing drink on this planet. Rumor has it how the mint Julep didn’t come from the usa, it started in Cr. In reality legend has it that Columbus was initially served this delightful beverage around the colonial of Cr in 1502.
Believe what you look for, but Costa Rica has a recipe to find the best Mint Julep I have ever tasted as well as in earlier seventies I had been guest on the Kentucky Derby and i also had one, or two or maybe three so its future I do not remember precisely how good it tasted, but because far like me concerned the C . r . Mint Julep is the foremost!

The mint must be fresh and the large leave type which is most typical. You can find it for most grocers. In Cr sometimes you’ll find it growing wild. The most effective whisky is of course is bourbon but a good rum is useful too.
Evidently this can also be delightful with no liquor inside it.
Ingredients:
6- mint leaves- for every glass of mint Julep
6 ounces of Ginger ale
One shot of Bourbon or Rum
Ample crushed Ice
Juice of 1 / 2 of a fresh lime
(Makes one Mint Julep)
Instructions:
Place mint leaves in the blender with the juice of half a line. Blend on high for a couple seconds or until mint leaves are in tiny pieces. Add to a tall glass with crushed ice then add the ginger ale, pour inside the shot of bourbon and stir. Place a sprig of mint leaves at the pinnacle and serve. Use caution since you won’t be able to eliminate your invited guests as soon as they get one in the Mint Juleps!
