Information You Have To Understand About Course in Miracles

Keeping up with the expression “it is exactly what it is”? What does that expression mean exactly?

Before I understood the deeper concept of this expression, I envisioned an emaciated yogi guru from the lotus position floating above the ground imperiously imparting wisdom that could take scholars multiple lifetimes to interpret. Seeing as how this is my last life on earth and the lotus position would put me in traction, I knew that consulting the Course In Miracles would help me clarify its meaning.

What is the IT that we are currently talking about here? According to the Course in Miracles, It’s truth, specifically God’s truth. Why is it important to emphasize it is God’s truth? Because God’s the fact is not open to interpretations whereas a human’s truth is. Multiple versions of human truth have cause a myriad of religions. The Columbia Electronic Encyclopedia defines religion like a “system of thought, feeling, and action that is shared by way of a group understanding that provides members a physical object of devotion.”

Who devised the machine of thought? On whose feelings are these thoughts based? Are actions really necessary? In accordance with the Course In Miracles, God just is and our ultimate goal would be to return to a great state of being. There isn’t any thought or action from the condition of being, you simply are. What must not be forgotten is the underlying thread of religions: God is creator, God is love and we’re all perfect and infinite kids of God.

Put yet another way, “it ‘s what it is” can be rewritten to “God’s love may be the only truth which is absolute” and this truth knows no bounds which is timeless.
