But while users may well not always seek out reviews directly on Twitter (unless you started some sort of review hashtag, perhaps), tweets are still indexed in search results. This means a user’s tweet, whether complimentary or less-than, could appear inside the SERPs when someone’s looking for reviews in your business.

Not just that — there’s stuff you can actively do with the positive tweets coming to you. For instance, we tested the element of social proof on conversions only at HubSpot, attaching three tweets that gave reviews that are positive with an ebook we had been promoting at the time. Guess what happens happened? The CTA together with the three tweets converted much better than the CTA with no tweets. If you will “Favorite” tweets that may function as reviews that are positive down the road, it will be easier to find them when you need for their services in your marketing.

19) Your Own Website

Finally, the main one place in which you have total and utter control: your web site. It is really an great spot to publicize reviews you get (perhaps embed some of those tweets you favorited?) You could carve out a piece of your website dedicated only to reviews and testimonials, and also incorporate a form so happy customers can submit their unsolicited reviews. But if you’re actively campaigning for positive online reviews so you encounter happy customers who would like to leave you an optimistic review but don’t have accounts on sites like Yelp, Angie’s List, or Google, it’s handy to experience a position on your web site to create their kind words. Attempt to add testimonials to landing pages and product pages, too.
